隨著<種族歧視條例>之僱員實務守則已經正式通過，本地居民如涉及種族歧視行為，將可能觸犯法例。故此，為了避免產生不必要的語言誤會，我們成立香港翻譯通服務為以回應社區內不同團體及個人對少數族裔語言翻譯的需要，希望建立良好的社會溝通。我們與醫院管理局合作，為全港公立醫院提供翻譯服務。現時，我們更把提供的翻譯語言增至16 種。

As the “Race Discrimination Ordinance” has been introduced, local citizen may violate the law for any racial discrimination. In order to prevent any misunderstanding due to language barriers, Hong Kong TransLingual Services was established to respond the needs of ethnic minority‘s languages translation between different community groups and individuals, create good social communication.  We cooperate with Hospital Authority, to provide translation services for public hospitals in Hong Kong. Until now, we have already expand our translation language to 16 languages.
